Brilliant Valero Retains Title
My love for Edwin Valero continues to grow. He put in a supreme performance against Antonio DeMarco tonight, and this after suffering an horrific cut on his head caused by an accidental elbow. I was surprised the fight wasn't stopped there and then, the cut was so bad, but despite fighting every round with his face covered in blood he won them all and DeMarco couldn't come out for the 10th.
That takes Valero's record to 27-0 with 27 stoppages. This guy is a superstar many people don't know about due to his problems getting licensed in the US.
