Our free agent WR options got a bit clearer today, with Dwayne Bowe signing a new 5 year deal with the Chiefs and it being reported that Jennings did not get tagged by the Packers. Both are being reported by NFL.com. Bowe signing allowed the Chiefs to tag Brandon Albert, their starting OT, which makes the number one pick in the draft very interesting. They've traded for Smith, so not going to be a QB, tagged Albert, so not going to be the next most likely option of an OT, so leaves who it will be WIDE open.
So, if we're going to get a new WR via free agency, it's now down to either Wallace or Jennings. There are others available, eg Welker (v unlikely he's not back in NE), but those two are the biggest names and most likely to improve our WR corps in a meaningful way.
On another note, I notice that the Titans didn't tag Jared Cook, so he might be a TE that we'll now show interest in.
Fun really starts next week when free agency begins, can't wait...
